I have often thought to myself, ‘If I had only taken care of myself the last several months, I would be in a better place today.’ Now I can say that I am feeling much better then I did 2 months ago. I haven’t had a diet soda, added sugar, sugary foods or anything artificial in 2 months. Almost 100% perfectly. I feel good so it must be having some positive effects on my body. 🙂 The beauty of making a life change is that it makes it easier to reach your goal without feeling like your on a diet. It becomes more about the life change and you’re overall ultimate goal of better health, then a diet. I am so looking forward to the results after my ‘first’ year but I try not to focus on the daily obsession of the scale. I have to admit that I like the pleasant surprise when I do get on it, and putting on cloths that I can’t wear anymore because they are too big is definitely a great feeling.
Jamie Eslinger was doing a one year challenge and blogging about it. It inspired me to do the same. Her blog is The Promise 365. Now she is coaching other women to keep their own personal commitments for a year.
I am always grateful for positive inspiration.
