Posting everyday is presenting challenges of it’s own. I am going to try to do better. I must do better! I made a promise to myself and to you.
I’m still going strong at 33 days. It feels great to be sugar free and artificial free.
One of my old staples for a night time snack has always been salt free rice cakes from a popular brand and peanut butter with a tiny bit of all fruit jelly to satisfy my crunch craving. I have been staying away from them because of the sugar in the peanut butter. This week, I had one twice. I think it’s better to grab that when the going gets tuff. Raw almond butter would be a better choice if the peanut butter isn’t natural.
I had a pleasant surprise in my garden today when I went out into my backyard. I found some romaine lettuce, two kinds of parsley and some thyme growing strong right through the leaves; it’s December 16th. Crazy!
I need a garden!
I’ve been getting a raw almond butter with flaxseed and using that on my toast for breakfast. I cut out eggs for awhile. I was eating too many of those.
